Scared of birth pain?

I’ve learned that pain is not always something to fear. Sometimes, it’s a sensation to understand, accept, and move through.

Through my work and my own experiences, I’ve developed a deep awareness of how pain feels in the body --and how perception, preparation, and the right tools can change the way we experience it.

That awareness has allowed me to do things many people would never consider: intense physical challenges, demanding movement, and experiences that require me to stay present when my body is asking me to stop.

And then there was the everyday miracle of giving birth to my daughter without pain medication.

Not because birth was painless. It wasn’t. But because I had prepared myself to understand the sensations, work with them, and trust my body through the intensity.

**Pain is real. But the way we perceive it, understand it, and respond to it can make all the difference.**

This is also what I bring to my work with bodies preparing for birth. Through reflexology and a deeper understanding of the body, I help you develop awareness, relaxation, and tools to approach the sensations of labour with more confidence.

You don’t have to be fearless. You don’t have to pretend it won’t be intense.

You just deserve to feel prepared, supported, and empowered.

Being in the moment of giving birth requires feeling safe. Feeling safe means having addressed triggers and being confident in handling situations with being present to the physical ebb and flow of strong sensations. My job as a doula is to supply you with the guidance, reassurance, and grounding needed to meet your needs.

What I love about living a naturopathic lifestyle is how inspired I feel doing what I love.

Whether I am out harvesting wild herbs to transform into remedies and food, or at a birth assisting the process from start to finish, or listening to a client to form a protocol best suited to them, I live in a place of gratitude.

Patience allows us to see our broken parts and our potential. Patience takes the time for gentle care, honest appraisal, and hopeful outcomes. Patience permits calmer, refined decisions, and helps maintain contact with physical cues to emotional balance.

Having a toddler that refuses pretty much all vegg

Having a toddler that refuses pretty much all veggies and a lot of fruits brought me to experimenting with making pancakes that taste amazing, are easy to make, and meet my standards in providing food that will support my child's health.

I use a banana (or extra apple or pear if I'm out of bananas), an egg, and a variety of fruits and veggies that I have on hand. I add in my liquid, sometimes water, sometimes milk and sometimes I'll add in some yogurt.

While it blends, I mix my dry ingredients: all purpose with buckwheat flour, a scoop of protein powder (either vanilla or strawberry flavoured) along with baking soda and baking powder. Some cinnamon and pumpkin spice brings out the magic yumminess.

I will add in a tablespoon or so of coconut sugar then mix everything. I cook it on a preheated pan on low heat and voila! Tasty, nutrient-dense pancakes the whole family loves.

Avoir un petit qui refuse presque tous les légumes et beaucoup de fruits m'a poussée à expérimenter des recettes de crêpes délicieuses, faciles à préparer et qui répondent à mes exigences en matière d'alimentation saine pour mon enfant.

J'utilise une banane (ou une pomme ou une poire si je n'ai plus de bananes), un œuf et divers fruits et légumes que j'ai sous la main. J'ajoute ensuite le liquide : parfois de l'eau, parfois du lait, et parfois un peu de yaourt.

Pendant que le tout est mixé, je mélange les ingrédients secs : de la farine tout usage avec de la farine de sarrasin, une dose de protéines en poudre (à la vanille ou à la fraise), du bicarbonate de soude et de la levure chimique. Un peu de cannelle et d'épices pour tarte à la citrouille apportent la touche finale.

J'ajoute une cuillère à soupe de sucre de coco, puis je mélange le tout. Je fais cuire la pâte dans une poêle préchauffée à feu doux et voilà ! De délicieuses crêpes nutritives que toute la famille adore.
